I have been seeing patients in private practice since 1997.  I was a nutrition consultant in the internal medicine office of NOVAMED Associates from August of 1997 to August 2017.  Prior to working in private practice I worked for Group Health Associations’ Primary Prevention Program and as a staff nutritionist for the Department of Nutrition at Group Health Association and at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  I have been a consultant to several organizations and have taught weight management and cholesterol education programs as well as lectured on many timely nutrition topics.

I am married and have two adult children.  I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking – especially Armenian food, hiking, Zumba and doing yoga in my spare time.
